经过将近一星期的社区服务，让我经过了很多第一次。第一次，亲自体验小贩的一天。除此之外，有机会在为社区服务的当儿，聆听他们在茨厂街度过的岁月，让我们感受到老一代对茨厂街的记忆。
One week of the community service was allowed me to
experience many “first time” in my life. The most meaningful to me is to be a
hawker for a day. In addition, we have the opportunity to serve the community,
to listen to their stories in Petaling Street. These all let us know how
meaningful of Petaling Street in their memory.
除了进行亲身体验，我们也将把这些体验和记忆，通过书写和绘画的方式，与Lostgens共同制作小册子。而小册子的内容，是由我们一起构思和讨论，小册子里头有我们亲自绘出代表茨厂街事物的画和地图。当然，还有我们通过文字来诉说的历史。
In addition to personal experience, we also cooperate with
Lostgens to produce a booklet to record our experience and meaningful memory by
writing and painting. We produce ideas and suggestion for the content of the
booklet together. The booklet included the map drawing by ourselves and
memories we have experience together.
社区服务让我们吸收了很多东西，不管是团队精神，或是对国家历史的重视。这都让我们思考并从中成长。而在这当中，让我建立了全新观念。那就是维护国家文物遗产和非物质文遗产，维护的责任并不能以种族来区分，而必须是全国人民的责任。因为这是全国人民共同经历过的经验和记忆。这条路，对于马来西亚还很漫长，我们需要不分种族，齐心协力的为我们的国家出一份心力。
Community services let us gain a lot, such as the team
spirit and the importance of national history. This will allow us to reflect on
and to grow in future. From here, I established a completely new concept. That
is the maintenance of national heritage must be the responsibility of the people
of the entire country. This is the common experiences and memories for all of
us. So, we need to work together, without race distinction for our country to make
a difference.
